Hello! I’m Soumya, a seeker of balance, meaning, and deep human connection. My name, rooted in Sanskrit, means peaceful, gentle, and amiable.

For over 15 years, I worked across social work, schools, communities, and with families—driven by a deep desire to make a difference. But as life unfolded—through grief, motherhood, and the challenge of raising a child in a new country—I found myself quietly burning out.

Despite professional success, I felt unfulfilled. My turning point came when I realised I couldn’t keep sacrificing my well-being  or ‘hold it all together’. I asked myself: Can I create a life where I don’t have to choose between my career, my family, and my health. It was time to rewrite the rules.

Something had to change! I stepped into the unknown, with no map for building a business, just trusting my intuition— as a way to show up for myself, my family, my work and recovery of my mental health. I saw alignment and my business became a vehicle for restoring my lost balance .

A journey of  transitions and reconnecting with the roots …

At 16, I learned one of life’s hardest truths: no one is coming to rescue you. You have to find what helps you rise again after a fall—especially when that fall shakes your sense of self-worth.

This  awareness shaped my journey to understand myself deeply and my place in the world .  and were having a hard time coping with their new reality as both a parent and a provider. As I supported these parents in navigating through their challenges, I realized the immense impact coaching could have on families. This ignited a fire in me to continue supporting families in this way and pursue my passion for helping parents and children thrive in the modern world.

A Professional and Personal Approach to Coaching for Children

As a mother myself, I know the joys and challenges that come with raising a child. I love being a mother, but I also know how exhausting it can be, especially during the early years when unexpected challenges arise. Through my own journey, I have learned to figure out and understand both myself and my child’s needs while juggling all of life’s demands. As a parent, my dream is to see my child navigate life with all the tools and resources necessary to protect her mental health and thrive in the world. As a life coach for parents and children, I use my personal and professional experiences to connect with other parents and support them in their own journey.

In my coaching sessions, I provide a safe and supportive environment for children to share their challenges and explore effective coping strategies. Together, we work on finding their strengths and utilizing appropriate resources for early intervention in mental health concerns and other challenging areas of their life.

Additionally, I support families in navigating cultural diversity and changes in family dynamics. My aim is to equip children with lifelong tools and resources to prioritize their mental health, boost their self-worth, and stay connected with their true selves.

Living my dream…

My approach to coaching is grounded in my personal experiences and learnings from my career, helping children and parents find their inner strength and connection in this modern world. I believe the parent-child relationship is one of the most significant relationships that shape a child’s well-being. As a coach, I adopt a collaborative and person centered approach to develop personalized strategies and techniques to achieve their desired goals.

My coaching style is rooted in empathy, understanding, and active listening. I take the time to listen to each individual’s story, their unique challenges, and strengths. Then, we work together to identify personalized tools and techniques that can help them navigate their challenges and achieve their desired goals.

I am here to support you on your journey towards a more fulfilling parenting experience.

Finding joy in the simple things…

I enjoy drawing, and recently I'm learning Madhubani Folk Art. Art helps me to connect to my creative side.

Gardening, and walking in nature bring me peace and tranquility.

I am part of a book club, and I love connecting with others through books.

I like to lose myself in travel, and learn about new cultures, places and people.

I have flown a plane! It was an amazing experience that helped me shift some of my limiting beliefs.

I enjoy cooking and listening to people's stories. It fascinates me to learn about their experiences and perspectives.

I am doing a course in family constellation work as I am interested in understanding and resolving intergenerational and intragenerational family dynamics.

I will not teach or love or show you anything perfectly, but I will let you see me, and I will always hold sacred the gift of seeing you. Truly, deeply, seeing you.
