The Anchored Parent Pathway

Feel emotionally safe and supported — in a culturally aware space that honours your whole self — without fear of judgment, constant juggling, or having to do it all alone.

What if you could move through your days with more presence and less pressure — not because life got quieter, but because you had the clarity and capacity to meet it with steadiness?

Imagine having support that doesn’t require you to explain your culture, justify your emotions, or prove your worth. A space that feels like home — where you’re held, guided, and gently reminded of who you are beneath the overwhelm.

Imagine your family like a mobile — each part connected, gently influencing the other.

When one piece is pulled out of balance, the whole system shifts.

This work helps you become that steady anchor again — so everyone can settle.

No more choosing between your work, your family, and your wellbeing.
You grow your career and stay emotionally connected to your children — without guilt. There’s energy to move through the week, yes — but also to return to your peace, your purpose, and your own presence.

You trust your rhythm.  You know what to hold, what to let go, and how to ask for support without hesitation.
You’re building a community that sees you, affirms you, and helps you thrive.

This isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing it your way: rooted, supported, and whole.

Coaching for children - Working with Soumya Karkera

You’re carrying more than one person should — and doing it without the support, space, or systems you truly need…it’s not sustainable.

You’re not struggling because you’re disorganised, unmotivated, or “bad at boundaries.”

You’ve been holding it all together for so long that overwhelm feels like the default.
And somewhere along the way, the version of you that was ambitious, connected, and alive got buried under the weight of getting through the day.

You want to feel calm, but not disconnected.
You want to grow, but not at the cost of your health or relationships.
You want to show up for your family and your future — without having to sacrifice either.

But right now, it feels like you have to choose.
And you are feeling ready to change the way you are living your life.

That’s exactly what this support is all about ..

How You’ll Be Supported Through This Journey

The intention of this journey isn’t to fix you — it’s to help you come home to yourself.

It’s about slowing down, rebuilding capacity, and gently aligning your life with what truly matters — so you’re not constantly juggling or forced to drop the parts of life you care about most.

At the heart of our work together is clarity, compassion, and choice.

You’ll be supported with steady guidance, spacious reflection, and personalised tools — all designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward in a way that feels possible.

What You’ll Receive

When you join The Anchored Parent Pathway, you’re not just signing up for support — you’re stepping into a calm, culturally aware container designed to meet you where you are.

  • A holistic, gentle and practical approach – My coaching style brings together mindset work, nervous system support, and practical strategies that are grounded in everyday family life. We’ll look at what’s going on beneath the surface as well as what’s playing out day to day—so you can create real, lasting change that aligns with your values and the kind of parent you want to be.
  • A personalised roadmap at the start — co-created with you, so you know where we’re headed and what matters most right now.
  • Biweekly 1:1 sessions (via Zoom) — gentle, guided sessions to explore, reflect, release, and grow at a sustainable pace.
  • Voice and message check-ins between sessions — so you’re never left holding hard moments alone.
  • Reflection prompts or grounding practices — only when helpful, and always optional. No busywork, no overwhelm.
  • 🤲A mid-point integration session — to pause, reflect, and adjust the pathway if needed.
  • A closing integration and anchoring ritual — to help you honour your growth and step forward feeling resourced and steady
  • A transformative 6-month coaching package – Our coaching relationship is designed to unfold over 6 months— If it feels right, there’s an option to continue for another 6 months. If we have NEVER worked together in any capacity, I do offer a 4 session package to start with.
  • A clear and supportive coaching agreement to begin with– Before we start our coaching journey, we’ll both sign a simple agreement. This creates a safe and grounded container for our work together, helping us show up with clarity, mutual respect, and shared intention.

Working with Soumya

I created The Anchored Parent Pathway because I’ve lived many of the moments my clients bring into our work — trying to hold a family together, navigating cultural transitions, walking through grief, career shifts, motherhood, and healing… often without the support I needed.

I bring more than 15 years of professional experience working with children and families — and over time, my work has deepened through systemic and integrative practices like family constellations. This allows me to see what’s not working, what’s out of alignment, and what’s quietly asking to be heard — across the individual, the family, the context, and the cultural layers.

This is not about changing who you are.
It’s about reconnecting you with what’s already there — your strengths, your story, your clarity. I see what matters, and I guide with care and simplicity. I hold space for the full ecosystem you move through, because real change doesn’t happen in isolation. Our work is client-led, collaborative, and deeply rooted in compassion and clarity.

We focus on integration — not just insight.
You’ll be supported to gently recalibrate your relationship with yourself, your family, and your future, at a pace that’s respectful of your capacity.

What Makes Me the Right Guide
I guide from lived experience, not just theory

I see the whole picture — not just the presenting issue

I see what matters and guide you to align with what’s right for you

Why Now?

Because waiting hasn’t brought you more space.
It hasn’t made things clearer, calmer, or more manageable.

You’ve likely already tried to do this alone — to manage the emotions, the logistics, the identity shifts — while telling yourself to hold on just a little longer.

But real change rarely comes from pushing through.
It comes from being supported.

This isn’t about rushing.
It’s about recognising that your needs matter now — not someday, not when the kids are older, not after the next crisis passes.

It’s about finally making space for you — not as an afterthought, but as someone whose steadiness matters to the whole system.

This is for you if you’re ready to feel supported, steady, and aligned — and you’re no longer willing to wait for the “right time” to begin.

Who is this for?

The Anchored Parent Pathway is for thoughtful, open-hearted parents who are doing their best to live in alignment — even when it feels like too much.

You are:

  • Juggling work, caregiving, and ambition — with time in short supply and energy even scarcer
  • Committed to both your family and your purpose — craving a life where you don’t have to sacrifice one to honour the other
  • Carrying more than one person should — navigating burnout, big transitions, and decision fatigue, often without enough support
  • Insightful and self-aware — asking big questions like, “Am I doing enough? Am I even doing the right thing?”
  • Rooted in your values and culture — and tired of receiving support that doesn’t see your whole identity or the world you move through
  • A quiet leader and role model — building your capacity, reclaiming your energy, and seeking a steady way to live and lead from integrity

You believe it’s possible to create a more spacious, steady, and self-honouring life — you just need the right support system to get there.

Testimonials

“Soumya is outstanding at what she does and would be an asset to any family. We asked Soumya to help bring our family back into balance and we chose her because of her approach: she is compassionate, wise, thoughtful and objective. Soumya wants the best for your family – there is no shame or guilt – just a gentle working through of the issues with guidance and support at every turn. When you work with Soumya, you know you are in the best hands and her experience shines through. We are so grateful for the support we received and even better, we know Soumya is there when we will inevitably need her help again. That feels very supportive.”

– Poppy Mardall

“My few sessions with Soumya helped me navigate through a very emotionally difficult time for my family and my daughter in her school. The immersive tools to cope with hurdles that were shared with me were refreshing and I carry them with me for the future. Needless to say I treasure Saumya to be a part of my journey as a good parent and look forward to recommending her to friends who could use her valuable help!”

FAQ’s /
Things to Consider Before Enrolling

Q1: What if I can’t commit to six months right now?
You’ll receive a response within a few days with either available start dates or a place on the waiting list (if intakes are closed). From there, we’ll explore which path fits your needs and capacity best.

Q2: What happens after I fill out the enquiry form?
You’ll receive a response within a few days with either available start dates or a place on the waiting list (if intakes are closed). From there, we’ll explore which path fits your needs and capacity best.

Q3: Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?
Yes — I offer a range of times during the week, including some evenings, to accommodate working parents and caregivers. I don’t offer sessions on Sundays, and Saturdays are only considered if no other options are possible. We’ll find a rhythm that works for both of us.

Q4: Is this therapy/counselling?
No — this is not therapy. My work is rooted in systemic thinking and supported by over 15 years of professional experience with children and families, along with my own lived experience. I use a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help clients rebuild capacity and maintain everyday mental wellbeing.

Q5: Can I switch between monthly and biweekly sessions?
Once you’ve chosen a path, we’ll stick to that rhythm — biweekly for the full pathway, monthly for the gentle support option. If something shifts, we can discuss and adjust within reason.

Q6: I’m not sure if this is the right time. Can we talk first?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to book a consultation session. If you choose to move forward, this will be counted as your first session in the Steady Start Series or full pathway.

Q7:How many sessions will I need?
This really depends on where you are right now — your goals, your current capacity (emotional, financial, and time), and the level of support you’re looking for.

Some clients find that one series of 3 sessions is enough to create meaningful change. Others continue for 12 sessions or more, especially when navigating big transitions. Some return for light support as needed, seasonally or during times of change.

There’s no one-size-fits-all — we’ll shape the pathway around you.
